Prada Paige strikes again!

Hello, friends.
Well I can't say much, seeing as I'm posting from work (bad idea).
Just wanted to say hello and let you know how much I miss you all!
It's been a crazy past few months here at what used to be the Dispatch Tribune, including a merger and a name change: We're now the Sun Tribune Newspapers. The St. Joseph News-Press bought the Sun Publications and it is just one BIG, HAPPY FAMILY here.
Laura and I are still kickin' it here on the copy desk, and when we rearranged the newsroom after a particularly alarming hiring and firing shuffle, we made sure our desks were RIGHT next to each other. It's trouble, I tell you.
Still freelancing for Kansas City Homes & Gardens; I do probably one story every two months or so, but it keeps me sane. The last piece I wrote was about mold and other nasty home stuff. It turned out well, but I want to buy bleach in bulk now.
I definitely can't say much about things outside of work, but if you want to know the most exciting developments you can e-mail me or go to my LiveJournal and friend me there. All the juicy stuff is locked up.
Finally, being single in Kansas City really bites the big one. For anyone wondering, Match.com is a disaster (no matter what that crazy homeowner Ashley says!!) that should be avoided at all costs. I met a great guy who turned out to be 37 and married with two kids. That was fun. Again, more (angry) details on my eljay.
Time to go away now. I'm working on a special section about Down syndrome here at work, and it's keeping me pretty busy. Updates, guys!!
