... start spreadin' the news?
So, for those of you who live in a cave: I was offered a magazine job in New York City, and I'm moving in about a month. Eee! I'd tell you the name of the company, but you wouldn't know it anyway. It's a start, though, and I'm starting as "assistant editor," not "editorial assistant."
Isn't it amazing how just switching the words can change things completely?
I couldn't write anything here until now because, y'know, it's a public blog. Who knows who else might be reading this?
But then everyone at work found out anyway. Because I have a huge mouth.
So, that's exciting. If anybody knows of a sublet available in the area until August 1, let me know.
In other news, anyone on LiveJournal who wants to add a Kansas blog feed to their friends list can do so by visiting this URL: http://syndicated.livejournal.com/udkpressclub/profile
That is all. Happy Friday.

Very many congrats!
I'm so curious though, who's the job with? It's ok, you can tell me, I'm another magaziney.
Maggie
Magaziney is best served with a red sauce and a sprig of parsley.
Really, you think? I always liked it with pesto.
